EVERYDAY LEADERSHIP

What are you navigating?

Explore the challenges, questions and situations that come with leading people.

Leadership challenges are not reserved for people who are getting it wrong. They are part of working with people, carrying responsibility and making decisions without a complete picture.

You don’t need to have a finished question or a clear answer to begin exploring.

A SHARED PART OF THE WORK

Having a
challenge doesn’t
mean you’re failing.

No one leads without encountering uncertainty, tension or situations they haven’t faced before. Experience doesn’t remove those challenges. It can broaden the tools, perspectives and relationships we can draw on, and build our confidence to use them. The conditions around us also shape what is possible.

We’ve gathered leadership challenges and some of the common issues within them, alongside perspectives from people navigating this work. Start with something that feels familiar, then explore the questions, experiences and practical resources connected to it.

Rebecca and Dianna’s perspectives are a starting point, not the whole conversation. We want this collection to grow through other leaders’ experiences, different ways of seeing and ideas worth sharing.

MAKE IT MEANINGFUL

What would you add to the conversation?

A library is only useful if it connects with the people who visit it.
Help shape this collection by sharing a perspective or suggesting a challenge you’d like us to explore.

Offer a guest perspective

Do you have an experience, question or approach that could add to the conversation? We welcome contributions that help people think about leadership from different perspectives.

You are welcome to send an idea first.

Our contributor guide explains what fits the collection, how review works and how your contribution will be credited. We may suggest edits, but the final version of your contribution will only be published with your approval.

Bring a challenge, not necessarily an answer

Your circumstances are your own, but parts of what you’re navigating may be familiar to others. We welcome challenges and questions that aren’t yet reflected in this collection.

You don’t need an answer. Helping us name the question is a contribution too. We may invite a follow-up conversation, but can’t promise an individual response or resource. Nothing identifying you will be published without your permission.
